Blake A. Bauer
Hi, my name is Blake! I’m currently in my fourth year at The University of Mary Washington (graduating on May 9th, 2026!), majoring in Historic Preservation. I enjoy studying museums, archaeology, and architecture, however, my true passion lies in filmmaking, storytelling, and the outdoors which synergize well with preservation. It’s a lot of fun shooting on 35mm film (thanks for your old camera, Mom!), Hi8 camcorders, Super 8, Polaroids, DSLRs, and more. I enjoy tinkering with older analog technology in general. Another passion of mine is music, specifically collecting and listening to vinyl records. Recently, my Dad and I built some neat wooden shelves from scratch to store all of our records. In my free time, I’m also a big fan of travelling, caring for house plants, and watching horror movies with my friends. That’s the gist, if you’re interested in reading more or seeing my work, feel free to explore my website or reach out through email. Thanks for reading this far, have a nice day!
